04 / OPERATE

Spot the change before it becomes the new normal.

We built this monitoring discipline inside our own sending operation. Sky connects the available sending events with authorized Google Postmaster Tools, Yahoo complaint feedback and Microsoft SNDS/JMRP signals. We distinguish individual complaints from aggregate trends before acting.

01WHEN THIS HELPS

For teams that need a repeatable sender-health process rather than another isolated dashboard.

02EVIDENCE & INPUTS

Read the evidence
across layers.

01

SMTP service events and server logs by mailbox provider

02

Google Postmaster Tools: authorized aggregate Gmail data, not individual complainants

03

Yahoo Sender Hub: DKIM-enrolled complaint feedback reports

04

Microsoft SNDS IP signals and JMRP complaints with authorized access

05

Hard bounces, unsubscribes, suppression, blocklists and representative inbox tests

THE SIGNALS BEHIND THE SEND

Three inbox providers.
Three different kinds of evidence.

Sky combines sending-system events with the receiver information a client is authorized to access. A complaint report can sometimes identify an address; a postmaster trend often cannot. The response must fit the evidence.

01 / Gmail

Google Postmaster Tools

WHAT IT SHOWS

Aggregate spam-rate, authentication and delivery-error signals. Campaign-level Feedback-ID reports may appear when reporting conditions are met—not a list of individual people who marked mail as spam.

WHAT SKY CAN DO

Compare dates and campaigns with sending logs; change targeting, identity or pacing based on the pattern.

Access needed: Verified sending domain + authorized dashboard or API access

02 / Yahoo

Sender Hub / Complaint Feedback Loop

WHAT IT SHOWS

For eligible mail, complaint reports can identify a recipient who marked a message as spam.

WHAT SKY CAN DO

Suppress the identified address on every applicable sending route, then inspect audience source and frequency.

Access needed: DKIM-signed mail + an enrolled, verified sending domain

03 / Microsoft

SNDS + JMRP

WHAT IT SHOWS

SNDS provides IP-level sender data. JMRP reports user-marked-junk messages when the program is enabled; these are different feeds.

WHAT SKY CAN DO

Investigate IP or traffic changes and suppress an identifiable complainant when a report permits it.

Access needed: Authorized access to sending IP data; JMRP enrollment for complaint reports

How this provider reports data

These are supported operating sources, not automatic access to a client account. Sky confirms the client’s domain/IP permissions, available integrations and what can be automated versus reviewed manually before agreeing on monitoring coverage. Sending-service complaints and bounces are reconciled separately from mailbox-provider dashboards.

03THE WORKFLOW

What happens after
we start looking.

01

Unify the signals

Define what is collected, what can be observed by provider and what remains unknown.

02

Triage quickly

Assign severity and action for deferrals, blocks, complaint spikes and unusual placement.

03

Close the loop

Suppress where required, investigate cause and record what happened after a change.

04A CLEAR WORKING BOUNDARY

We know which part
belongs to whom.

01 / TO START

What we need

Access to SMTP service events or server logs, authorized provider dashboards, suppression systems and someone empowered to change sending behavior.

02 / SKY

What we do

Set up and review the agreed provider sources, investigate anomalies, reconcile identifiable complaint/bounce events and escalate changes to sending behavior.

03 / YOUR TEAM

What you retain

List provenance, account ownership, campaign approvals and any actions expressly reserved for its internal team.
