Frameworks & readiness

Applicability depends on Sky's business activities, customer markets and processing. A privacy notice or cookie banner alone does not establish compliance.

CAN-SPAM

US commercial email

Policy documented · operational checks

Sender identification, truthful messages, a valid postal address and working opt-out handling.

Already in place

Sky website-newsletter opt-out is implemented. Requests for other Sky marketing lists are forwarded for separate handling.

Still to confirm

Verify campaign footer/address inclusion and suppression completion across every relevant sending system. The owner-confirmed postal address is documented; campaign execution remains unverified.

GDPR

EU/EEA personal data, where applicable

Policy documented · operational checks

Lawful processing, clear notices, individual rights, processor responsibilities and appropriate safeguards.

Already in place

Account safeguards, privacy-request contact routes and Sky-managed optional-analytics choices are implemented.

Still to confirm

Verify lawful bases, controller/processor roles, rights-request operations, retention/deletion, provider agreements and any applicable transfer safeguards. Business details and the privacy contact are owner-confirmed.

CASL

Canadian commercial electronic messages, where applicable

Policy documented · operational checks

Consent or an available permitted basis, sender details and timely unsubscribe handling.

Already in place

Sky has an anti-spam page, separate website-newsletter confirmation and a website-newsletter opt-out.

Still to confirm

Validate sending-basis records and request completion in external or historical sending lists. A form receipt is not suppression evidence.

Cookies & privacy choices

Jurisdiction-specific cookie and electronic-marketing rules

Controls implemented · review needed

Consent choices need to match the storage and tracking actually used, not only the banner.

Already in place

Accept, reject, settings, withdrawal and Global Privacy Control handling cover Sky-managed optional analytics.

Still to confirm

Review separately injected hosting telemetry, external resources and relevant jurisdictional rules. The Sky control does not gate every external resource.

Working controls & your choices

“Implemented control” describes a specific feature. It does not mean a law has been fully satisfied.

Account safeguards

Implemented control

Host-only sessions, password security, optional authenticator enrolment, protected sign-in actions and server-side access checks.

Available safeguards are not a security certification; individual MFA enrolment is a user choice.

Cookie preferences

Implemented control

Sky-managed optional analytics stays off until allowed. Preferences can be reopened and withdrawn.

Hosting telemetry and external font resources require separate review.

Read cookie policy

Email preference handling

Implemented control

The website newsletter can be stopped through the existing unsubscribe form.

Other Sky lists need separate operational handling; no customer ESP suppression is implied.

Manage email preferences

Privacy request contact

Implemented control

The privacy-choice page directs access, correction and deletion inquiries to the owner-designated privacy@skyteknologies.com mailbox.

Requests are handled manually; this is not an automated export or deletion service.

Operational verification

Sky has confirmed its business name, Indian business address, target markets and designated privacy contact. Next, verify lawful processing, applicable processor agreements and transfers, retention and deletion, rights-request handling, incident response, and sending/suppression procedures against actual operations. Naming a privacy mailbox is not evidence that request handling has been tested.

UK and EU electronic-marketing rules, California privacy law, Indian data-protection requirements and other regional obligations need a separate applicability review. This page does not declare all of them applicable to Sky or to every customer.

Customer campaigns remain separate: a Sky technical check cannot establish the lawful basis of a recipient list, prove that a mailing address is genuine, or confirm suppression in a disconnected sending system.
