1. Which services this policy covers

Creating a free Sky account has no charge. This policy covers paid Sky consulting, audits, implementation, managed services and workspace service allowances agreed on or after the effective date. A separate written agreement governs the agreed scope, price, billing period and any expressly agreed cancellation terms. Existing contracts are not retrospectively changed by this page.

An account, enquiry, quote or draft plan is not a paid order. The workspace currently has no self-service checkout, automatic subscription cancellation or automated refund function. Paid arrangements are handled through the agreement and invoice process.

2. Cancellation before work starts

If you cancel before Sky begins substantive work, Sky will refund prepaid service fees, less only actual third-party costs that you approved in writing before they were incurred and that cannot reasonably be recovered. Sky will identify any such deduction and provide supporting details. There is no standard cancellation penalty or deduction merely for opening an account or receiving a quote.

3. Cancellation after work has started

If you cancel after work starts, Sky will retain payment for the services actually supplied up to cancellation and any separately approved, nonrecoverable third-party costs. The amount will be based on the milestones, deliverables, time rates or billing allocation agreed before the work, without retrospective rates or double charging. If the agreement has no allocation, the parties will use a reasonable, documented proportion of the agreed work. Sky will refund the remaining prepaid balance and provide a cancellation calculation.

Completed work is not routinely refunded solely because you change your plans. This does not limit remedies for defective, misdescribed or undelivered services, or any mandatory legal rights.

4. Recurring services and prepaid future periods

For a recurring service, you may request cancellation by emailing Sky before the next renewal or billing date. Cancellation stops the next renewal once received; any stated minimum term or different notice period must have been expressly agreed in writing before purchase. Sky will confirm the effective end date. The current paid period normally remains available until that date and is not routinely prorated for a change of mind.

Payments for future service periods that have not started will be refunded, subject to services or approved nonrecoverable costs already supplied for those periods and any expressly agreed minimum-term obligation. Refund rights for Sky's failure to provide the agreed service and mandatory legal rights remain unaffected. This page does not activate automatic billing.

5. Third-party charges and deliverability outcomes

Charges paid directly to an email provider, hosting company, DNS provider or other third party are governed by that provider's terms. Sky cannot refund money it did not collect. Where Sky collected a third-party charge on your behalf, only a prior-approved, actual nonrecoverable cost may be retained, with no duplicate deduction.

Email delivery, inbox placement and reputation depend on recipient systems, audience permission, message content, provider policies and other factors outside Sky's control. A spam-folder result, missing provider data or a blocklist entry is not by itself proof that Sky failed to deliver its contracted service. Sky does not offer an automatic inbox-performance money-back guarantee.

6. If the agreed service is not supplied correctly

Tell Sky what was not supplied or what differs from the agreed scope. Sky will review the evidence and, where appropriate, offer correction or re-performance within a reasonable time. If that remedy is unavailable, unsuccessful or not appropriate under applicable law, Sky will provide a proportionate price reduction or refund for the affected service. Nothing requires you to accept a remedy that removes a statutory right.

7. How to request cancellation or a refund

Email info@skyteknologies.com with the account or company name, invoice or agreement reference, service concerned and the action you request. Use the email associated with the agreement where possible. You do not need to give a reason to exercise an applicable statutory withdrawal right. Do not email passwords, API secrets or payment-card details.

Sky aims to acknowledge requests within 3 business days and give a reasoned outcome within 10 business days after receiving the information reasonably needed. These are service targets, not permission to extend a legal deadline. Approved refunds will be initiated within 10 business days of approval, or sooner where applicable law requires. Bank or payment-provider settlement may take additional time. Refunds normally use the original payment method and currency; where that is unavailable, Sky will agree a secure alternative with you.

8. Consumer rights and statutory deadlines

Sky primarily supplies services for business use. If you are acting as a consumer and mandatory consumer law applies, that law takes priority over this policy and any conflicting agreement. Qualifying EU/EEA and UK distance service contracts normally have a 14-calendar-day withdrawal period. Different exceptions and requirements may apply to service performance and digital content.

Where the law requires it, Sky will not start a service during a statutory withdrawal period without your express request. If you then withdraw, a proportionate charge is permitted only where the required conditions are met. Loss of the withdrawal right on full service performance requires the legally required consent and acknowledgement; it is not inferred from account creation, payment or this policy alone. Where EU/UK statutory service-withdrawal reimbursement rules apply, reimbursement is due without undue delay and normally no later than 14 calendar days after Sky is informed of the withdrawal, subject to applicable legal conditions. Any legally required deadline takes priority over an internal approval process.

Rights under applicable Indian, Canadian, US state or other consumer law are not excluded. This policy does not impose a universal cooling-off rule on all business contracts or waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
